Subscription Agreement

This agreement applies when you subscribe to a paid plan of Legal Tech AI™. It adds to our Terms of Service.

Plans and price

There is no free plan. Prices exclude taxes where applicable. Features and usage allowances for each plan are shown before you subscribe. We may change our prices and plan limits in the future. We will tell you in advance, by email, with the notice the law requires, and a change applies only after that notice. You may cancel before a change takes effect.

Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically, every month on a monthly plan or every year on an annual plan, until you cancel. Unless you cancel before the end of your current billing period, we will charge your payment method the then-current price for each new period. If we change the price, we will tell you in advance, by email, with the time and method required by law, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

This agreement is intended to follow California's automatic renewal law (Business and Professions Code section 17600 and following) and the federal Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (15 U.S.C. section 8403), which require clear disclosure of the renewal terms before you are charged, your express consent, and a simple way to stop recurring charges.

Your consent

Before you are charged, you must confirm that you agree to these terms, to automatic renewal, and to the payment policy below. We keep a record of your consent, including the date, plan and version of these terms. After you subscribe we will email you a confirmation that includes the price, renewal terms, how to cancel, and this agreement.

How to cancel

You can cancel online at any time: sign in, open Account, choose Manage billing, and cancel. You do not need to contact us or call. Cancellation stops future charges. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

Payments and refunds

Payments are generally nonrefundable, including for partial months and unused time, except where applicable law requires a refund or where we decide to give one. If you believe you were charged in error, contact legalai@legaltechinfo.org within 60 days and we will review it. Payments are processed by Stripe. If a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it is resolved.

Disputes

Any dispute about your subscription, billing or this agreement is resolved as described in section 11 of the Terms of Service, including binding individual arbitration and a waiver of class actions. You can opt out within 30 days of first agreeing. Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
